Summer Sports Camp Sponsorship.....It’s a hot summer in the Bucharest Orphanages. Nothing to do but stay out of trouble or face the consequences. One day a bus pulls up. You get on board and it takes you out of the city and away from the orphanage to the Romanian country side. You are given a clean T shirt, put on a team, and play the national past time, soccer. You are taught to play fair, play smart, and give it your all no matter what the score. You feel involved, appreciated, loved, and you can't wait to come back! At the end of the day you share some food with your team, tell stories, and build friendships.
Sponsorship of this program is vital to teaching basic life skills such as working thru problems. In these kids lives they have a slim chance of acquiring these skills elsewhere.
Costs: $50 per child / $950 per Orphanage. Program Capacity: 200 Signed up (pre program) 60+ Program Administrator: TTS Sports - Romania
